How to Add an SSL Certificate to a cPanel Website Print

✅ Option 1: Use AutoSSL (Recommended)

If your hosting account includes AutoSSL (enabled by default), follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

  1. Visit yourdomain.com/cpanel or log in via your client portal.

  2. Enter your username and password.

Step 2: Navigate to SSL/TLS Status

  1. Scroll down to the Security section.

  2. Click SSL/TLS Status.

Step 3: Run AutoSSL

  1. Select the domains/subdomains you want to secure.

  2. Click Run AutoSSL at the top-right corner.

  3. Wait a few moments for the process to complete.

???? Success: Once finished, your site will have a valid SSL certificate issued by cPanel (powered by Sectigo or Let's Encrypt).
